New owners of Knollwood Country Club announced its sale effective January 31, 2025. Stating "our ownership team is in the community" in an introductory letter to KCC members, the buyers anticipated future changes and acknowledged past shortcomings.

Cale Bolinger as ongoing General Manager outlined new administrative and membership changes. The new club projects investment in its communications via a new app and website, to go live April 30; a streamlined model of membership with fewer categories; and elimination of locker- and cart-bundled products.
Regarding capital improvements, "you can expect a focus on the big-ticket items," Bolinger writes. Targeted areas in 2025 include expanding the quantity and quality of staff maintaining the golf courses; upgrading the golf cart fleet with GPS systems; and overhauling the cart paths of all 36 holes.
Bolinger continues, "We are focused on addressing some major improvements Members can expect over the next five years. Bidding and planning are already taking place for an overhaul of our outdoor racquet facilities, full irrigation remodel, golf simulator suites and updates to our banquet facilities."
