ATT Makes the Rounds

While some Michiana utility crews are deployed in the Carolinas post-Hurricane Helene, others are locally engaged in maintenance and other projects. In KPVillas, ATT personnel are routinely checking ATT junction boxes.

A technician making the rounds first touched the metallic box with a meter to check for stray current. He noted that if wiring bonds aren't connected right you can get a feedback. For example, if someone's digging it can cause problems and feed back through the cable.
His task is to make sure there are no safety issues. One of the most common sources of woe that he's seeking are mice in the junction box.. So far on this day, ATT boxes in KPVillas have passed the test.

Remember, call Indiana 811 (https://indiana811.org) before you dig.
